Is Content Health really free?

Is this a WordPress plugin or a SaaS tool?
A WordPress plugin. You install it on your site from WordPress.org (or upload the zip), then run scans from your wp-admin. The audit runs on your own database. Optional AI calls netotraffic.com only after you paste a key and click a fix button.
Does it send my content anywhere?
Not during the audit. The scan reads your local database only. Nothing is sent to netotraffic.com until you paste an API key and click a Fix / Suggest / Draft button. There is no activation ping, cron, or background balance refresh.
How is this different from Yoast or Rank Math?
Those tools excel at per-post checks in the editor. Content Health is a library view: site-wide counts, a single score, orphans, and a corpus report that compares every post against every other post — something an editor sidebar structurally cannot do.
Which SEO plugins does it support?
It reads and writes meta descriptions and title tags for Yoast SEO, Rank Math, and SEOPress. All in One SEO is read-only. With no SEO plugin installed, Content Health can store and output descriptions and titles itself.
What do the optional AI fixes cost?
They spend credits from your netotraffic.com balance. The plugin shows the price before every click. New accounts include free credits. You can revoke a key anytime to cut access immediately.
Will AI overwrite my posts without asking?
No. Meta and title fixes write one field at a time with Undo. Link suggestions never write content. Article drafts and section refresh only save when you approve. Backups are kept so one click restores the previous value.
What about Google Search Console?
Optional and separate from netotraffic.com. You connect your own Google Cloud OAuth credentials. With nothing connected, every card still works on local heuristics. GSC data never leaves your site’s database through this plugin.
Does the broken-link checker need an account?
No. It’s free like the rest of the audit, but it is the one check that requests URLs found in your content (including external ones) — only when you click Check links, never automatically.
